Bondrunk started as a neighborhood bar in Thao Dien, where DJs spun records and wood-fired pizza brought the community together. What began as late nights and good music evolved into something bigger: a craft beer brand made for the streets of Saigon.
Brewed by Crazy Duck according to the German Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot), every bottle of Bondrunk is made with only water, barley, hops, and yeast. No shortcuts, no additives -- just honest beer brewed the way it has been for over 500 years.
The Reinheitsgebot is the oldest consumer protection law still in use. Passed in Bavaria in 1516, it mandates that beer can only contain water, barley, and hops (yeast was added later when its role was discovered). We follow this tradition because it produces better beer -- and because Saigon deserves better beer.
Today, you can find Bondrunk at 2 venues across Thao Dien -- from upscale lounges to no-frills neighborhood pubs. We are also taking the party to the Saigon River with our Booze Cruise experiences.
